These Official Rules govern the 4th & Five Fantasy Football Championship (the “League”). By registering and paying the entry fee, you confirm you are 21 or older and agree to be bound by these Rules. Please read them in full — they are the same for all participants.
The League is a private, skill-based fantasy football competition. All participants must be 21 years of age or older and must provide accurate registration information. Entry is confirmed only upon successful payment of the entry fee. The League is void where prohibited; each participant is responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to them.
The entry fee (as shown at registration) is paid per participant through the official 4th & Five website. It includes League entry, food (burger & fries), one adult beverage, and admission to the live Draft Day event.
The entry fee is the cost of participation and is the same for every participant regardless of whether the included food or beverage is used. No partial or reduced entry is offered except with prior written approval from 4th & Five ownership.
All entry fees are non-refundable, except that an alternate who pays but is never placed into a league (see Section 9) will be refunded in full.
Each league is run on a fantasy platform/app (such as ESPN) determined by 4th & Five and its league commissioners. Every participant must create and/or join their assigned league on the designated app as instructed. The platform and the official standard scoring settings will be communicated to participants before the season. The platform’s official records are the authoritative source for all results and standings.
Sunday, August 30 · 1:00 PM · Parlay on 8th Sports Bar, Bentonville, Arkansas. Bring a valid photo ID; you must be 21+.
Attendance in person is mandatory to draft. Virtual drafting, proxy drafting, and auto-drafting are not permitted except where a participant has received prior written approval from 4th & Five ownership in advance of Draft Day. Absent such approval, a participant who does not attend forfeits their position with no refund, and the spot may be offered to an alternate.
4th & Five league administrators reserve the sole and absolute right, in their discretion, to grant individual exceptions to the in-person attendance requirement in unique circumstances, on a case-by-case basis. Any such exception is a privilege and not a right, is not guaranteed to any participant, and granting an exception to one participant does not entitle any other participant to the same treatment. By entering, each participant agrees not to dispute, and waives any claim arising from, 4th & Five’s decision to grant or deny any such exception.
Each participant is responsible for setting their lineup before game kickoffs. Waivers, free agency, and trades follow the platform’s settings and any deadlines published to participants. 4th & Five and league commissioners reserve the right to review, reverse, or veto transactions made in bad faith or in collusion, and to manage or remove abandoned/inactive teams to protect competitive integrity.
Standard platform tiebreakers apply. For clarity:
Where any tie remains or a situation is not covered, 4th & Five’s determination is final.
Before the Championship Bracket begins, all League Champions’ existing rosters are discarded and each champion builds a completely new team through a live Auction Draft, so the title is decided on an equal footing. The Championship Bracket is then played using those newly drafted auction rosters to determine the overall 4th & Five Fantasy Football Champion.
The League is built for 96 participants; registration may remain open to build a reserve list of alternates. Alternates are contacted in the order they registered if a spot opens because a participant fails to pay, cancels, does not attend Draft Day, or forfeits. An alternate who pays but is never placed into a league will be refunded in full.
Prizes are awarded after the Championship concludes and results are verified. Winners may be required to provide a valid W-9. Prizes may be reported to tax authorities (including via IRS Form 1099) as required by law, and winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes.
4th & Five owners, hosts, commissioners, staff, and their immediate household members and affiliates may participate in order to help fill and oversee the leagues. However, these individuals are not eligible to receive cash prizes; any prize otherwise won by such a person will be donated to a charitable cause selected by 4th & Five. This policy exists to keep the competition fair for all participants.
Good sportsmanship is required. Cheating, collusion, multiple or fraudulent accounts, harassment, or any manipulation of results is prohibited and is grounds for removal from the League without refund. 4th & Five may remove any participant for conduct it deems detrimental to the League.
4th & Five administers the League and has final authority to interpret these Rules, resolve disputes, and make reasonable modifications necessary to protect the integrity of the competition. Where reasonable, material changes will be communicated to participants. All decisions of 4th & Five are final and binding.
If the Draft Day event or the season cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, 4th & Five may reschedule or make reasonable adjustments. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4th & Five’s total liability to any participant is limited to that participant’s entry fee.
